Coding Club for 5th graders!

We are so excited that the Vernon Hills High School Computer Science club has partnered with Elementary South to offer a Google CS Coding Club for our 5th Graders.  Today we learned how to code a race car game.

The New Laptops Have Arrived!

Students in 4th and 5th grade were very excited to return from Thanksgiving break to find that the new MacBook Airs that were purchased by the district this fall were ready for use.  Elementary South received a total of 112 new MacBook Airs to replace some of our oldest student laptops in the building.
