Meet the Principal

Welcome Elementary South Families! 

I am incredibly excited and honored to introduce myself as your new principal! It's truly wonderful to be back in this community, and I'm looking forward to many fantastic school years together.

I've dedicated 19 years to education, with 11 of those right here in District 73 as a school psychologist. My background includes a master's degree in psychology, an educational specialist degree in school psychology, and a master's degree in educational leadership. For the past seven years, I've served as an assistant principal, which has given me a well-rounded perspective on what our students and schools need to thrive. Throughout my career, I've focused on promoting strong teaching practices and building a positive school culture for everyone – students, staff, and families.

As a parent myself, with two children aged 11 and 13, I deeply understand how important a supportive and nurturing school environment is for our kids.

I'm so eager to discover what makes Elementary South such a special place and to hear what you, as parents and guardians, value most about our school. I truly believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential for student success.
