On Tuesday, May 14th, first graders went on a field trip to the Heller Nature Center in Highland Park. Heller’s Education Program offered an opportunity for students to learn about the natural world through experiences in an outdoor setting. Using clues to solve riddles, students discovered the four basic components of all habitats and how they are important to the survival of living things.
